Luca Bordonaro is a multi-talented artist coming from Sicily whose mission is to captivate audiences and take them on a journey through innovative and thought-provoking artwork. In his many projects, he combines folkloric, contemporary music, bass clarinet, live looping, electronic soundscapes and binaural sound design to create unique, immersive experiences.

With a solid background in classical and contemporary music, Luca has honed his craft through studies, three Master’s degrees, a Post-Master’s at Berklee College of Music, and collaborations in Italy, Portugal, Sweden, France and Spain. He has played with numerous orchestras and chamber ensembles, including the Lanciano Symphonic Orchestra (Italy), Orquestra Principe de Asturias (Portugal), Ensemble Contemporaine TM+ (Paris), Orchestra Jacaránda, etc. He has also participated in festivals such as the GroundUp Music Fest (Miami), Aurora Fine Arts Festival (Sweden), Palo Market Fest (Spain), Malomfesztivál (Serbia), and performed and recorded with artists like Magda Giannikou (Banda Magda), William Cepeda, Petros Klampanis, Walter Thompson, Gary Willis, Perico Sambeat, Victor Wooten, Patrice Rushen, 4-times Grammy-winning Michael League from Snarky Puppy, among others. Luca has also worked for the Berklee College of Music, Valencia, and Michael League's record label GroundUP Music as a video editor, business agent, and project manager.

In addition to his musical pursuits, Luca is constantly exploring new art forms. He has delved into photography, videography and multisensory experiences. He has created 360° VR experiences incorporating touch, smell and taste, as well as coded from scratch an augmented reality mobile app that merges music with food and wine.

Currently, Luca is developing a solo live looping set that combines organic and electronic textures with world music and poetry. He is the bandleader of the ethnic jazz band “LuQ”, and he has crafted the group workshop “Multisensory Storytelling”: delving into the connection between our senses and life, to empower, enrich and elevate our life experiences.
